Ms. Rauscher is always worth a visit! Delicious food and very friendly staff. A reservation is recommended. Unfortunately, we weren't convinced by the fries as they tasted a lot like fat. However, the fried potatoes were very good.

My husband and I finally wanted to find out what the so-called Frankfurt green sauce tastes like, so our friends took us to this restaurant. The interior is rustic and cozy. We received friendly service and our expectations were not disappointed ?

English menu, good service, great food

We were there last week with 5 people plus child. The service was very friendly. Drinks and food came quickly and were well presented. In terms of taste, I was very impressed by the food. I especially found the regional dishes great, as I didn't know them before. We recommend.

Typical tourist eatery. The food is rather below average but enough to fill you up. There are definitely better Ebbelwoi bars in Frankfurt.

Great for a winter's day and when you're really hungry. This is food that sticks to the ribs - and is meant to. The flavours are good. Traditional German food. We had the sausages - a bit like Cumberlands, and the local green sauce with hard boiled eggs. Both were nice with some weiss beer.

Good apple wine, great food and very good prices. Drinks were very fast, food took a while but it was nice to sit there and enjoy the atmosphere. I will come again.

Good cider pub in Frankfurt with friendly staff. Food is on a comparatively good level. Prices are to be assessed as average for Frankfurt standards. The staff is mostly friendly. Very nice and quiet outside area. The interior is unfortunately a bit dark, as only little daylight comes inside.

The food was not good. Tasteless fatty potatoes, burned unions and not the thing that I ordered. Services was OK, but could be friendlier. A shame for such a nice location.

Simply cult in Frankfurt. I'm absolutely not a fan of "Alt-Sachs" myself, to be honest the district is a hole. But this cider parlor is really an institution and offers good food. I don't go there often because of the location alone.

Food good, outside area needs to be revised again. Small particles flew down from the seemingly decomposed roof in the wind. For the super nice waitress there would be 5 stars. A star trigger for outdoor use. Eating in itself 4.

Typically the old and historical restaurant from the old Sachsenhausen. This place should be visited as part of the old city tour.

As traditional as a toy can possibly get. Make sure you reserve a table. It gets very busy. The food is simple but great. Come hungry, the serves are very generous.

A classic Frankfurt joint, this place looks and feels as traditional as you’d expect. A little cluttered, a little run down, and a homely atmosphere. Menu is offering a lot of Frankfurt specialities so you also won’t be disappointed with that. Where it falls short, however, is the service. Friendly at first, the waiters and kitchen were quickly overwhelmed by a large group of 12-16 people. Food was brought out very sporadically to individuals, with the last ones waiting for almost two hours. Orders were mixed up, and the frustration and stress of some waiters turned into rudeness towards the customers. Very unprofessional. Nonetheless, the food is tasty and the drinks are decent. Just don’t expect too much of a service.

You have to know that it exists otherwise you'll never find it. We got the recommendation from a local. And that's what you get visiting Frau Rauscher. Local German Food, Beers and Atmosphere. We love the place and had a great time enjoying Frankfurter Sausages, German Patato salad and other traditional foods. Service is friendly and relaxed. We shouldn't tell about it because of "Tourist Fear", but it's to pleasant to keep it a secret.

The attention is relatively normal. They could help more with respect to the menu. The prices are very good. The food very good. Very cheap beer, so much that it is cheaper to drink beer than water. The place is big and quiet, ideal for a good time.

This restaurant is very popular in many people. So when I visited at this restaurant, although the day was holiday, very crowded by people. visitors, citizens and so on. In fact, the location and parking is not good. So if you don't have a car, it is not easy access to this restaurant and also in case of you have a car it is very difficult to find parking lot. However taste of food is very excellent. My wife, friends and I ordered three kinds of food, schzizel, schweinshaxe, sausage. All of those were very delicious and signature afpelwein which the clerk recommended also was very good to drink.

Fast service, looks authentic and the prices are OK. Definitely not a tourist trap. There is free wifi, and the staff speaks good English. Try the Sweinhaxe, but beware of the sauerkraut: it's a huge serving :)

Traditional german restaurant with spacey halls, wood furniture, lot of relics from the past on the walls. Even a larger group can have fun. Authentic pitchers for apple wein. Superb, traditional, food (they had a dedicated mushroom menu i love). They must be huge Entracht Frankfurt(local soccer team) fans as there is a dedicated corner for the team. (Definitely a fun fact the spitting old lady sculpture next to the entrance.) Absolutely and warmly suggested!

The Apfelwein was very tasty and refreshing. Small and charming outside seats (not so small, as the tables are "long"). They have the main dishes from the region and the food tastes good. I'm not sure what people seek, but I would say that this place is simple, but not "rustic". Not too fancy, but the dishes all look really good. The price is pretty nice for the region where it is and you may even share the dish (large portions for 12 euros). There is also a menu in English, which helps a lot.

One of the best german restaurants i've ever been to, great beer, delicious food, high quality service and nice enviroment, i certanly recomend if you are in Frankfurt!

I’m sorry to the staff that I was hungry and need food! Very moody staff! The menu was dropped on my table and the waitress walked off before it hit the table. Ordered a large beer, starter and main. Half way though my starter three Mice joined me for company. One running on tables. Must have felt sorry for me as I was on my own. When I informed the staff they became very defensive, like it was my fault. If they showed any kind of kindness I might have stayed. So I told them to cancel my main course. I paid for my starters (which I DID NOT FINISH) and beer which I planned to finish outside without my new little friends. I got shouted at by the waiter/barman ‘HEY HEY GLASS’ I was still inside their beer garden. Needless to say I won’t be back. Slán.

I ordered the famous FRANKFURTER WÜRSTCHEN. The thing is that the sausage was OK, but the potatoes were cold, it seemed like it was just taken off the refrigerator and served. I don't know if this is the way but I personally like warm food. Besides that it was OK, good price and good service.

Slow service even if it's not crowded. Apple cider, the primary reason of our visit, was a total disappointment.

A long wait for service for a beer in the courtyard and it took even longer to play. Nevertheless the courtyard and inside is quite nice and with attentive service should be an enjoyable experience.
